JCT – Joining Communities Together Caseworker
JCT – Joining Communities Together is looking for two temporary caseworkers to join our frontline team. Based in Coventry, JCT works with asylum seekers, refugees, and those who are homeless. We provide trauma-informed support, information, signposting and casework. There are two caseworker roles available following a refocusing of our resources on a pilot basis.
The caseworkers will give one-to-one support, including immigration advice. We expect that the caseworkers will have the OISC level one qualification or above, or that you will gain the qualification soon after appointment.
You will work closely with the Senior Project Manager, Deputy Chief Executive, and volunteers to provide a high-quality service. The caseworkers will enable the client’s access to healthcare, housing, welfare benefits, education, employment, and specialised services. You will also be required, on occasions, to assist with any other tasks as required.
Experience of working with asylum seekers, refugees and those who are homeless is essential. For more information, please visit Charity Job.
Applications are being reviewed on an ongoing basis with a final deadline of 11 Feb 2024.
